survey regarding procurement of electricity

An upcoming survey regarding procurement of electricity from Renewable Energy Sources (RES-E) starting on 20 October 2015.
This survey is being carried out by Oeko-Institut e.V., ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability and imug on behalf of the European Commission Directorate General for Energy.
This survey will be immensely valuable in shaping future GPP criteria for electricity and is carried out on behalf of the European Commission. Your experience in the procurement of electricity from renewable energy sources is of great value in providing a better understanding of the state of play in green electricity procurement across the EU. Our major interest is how procurement of electricity can best provide an ecological benefit and further increase GPP from renewable energy sources, while being easy to handle for practitioners. Based on the information received from participating procurers, a series of templates will be developed to provide practical support with the procurement of renewable electricity. The more responses received, the better we will be able to tailor these templates and ensure they are fit for purpose.
Participation in the survey is voluntary. Any personal information given will be treated as highly confidential and analysis of all results will be carried out anonymously without assignment to the respondent and in accordance with all legal aspects of privacy. The European Commission will receive only aggregated analysis of the survey results, ensuring that no one will be able to determine your identity based on the answers provided.
